I think today is the first day of spring. I felt alone today. I miss him; we haven't spoken in at least a month. Every day is a milestone sometimes.

He'll never want me again.

His name reverberated through my head this morning. I couldn't make it stop.

He was like two different people - he adored me for a day and then danced around my advances the next. Always cautious but unpredictable, I loved both sides of him. He tore me apart.

I felt surrounded by him; closed in, yet held at arms length. He left again recently. Somehow I feel lighter, as if this time it won't be so bad.
